I'm the singer with Disturbin The Peace but I have quite a bit of history even though they won't let me play an instrument on stage.
I started when I was 12 playing in a duo with my Dad doing Buddy Holly, Everley Bros, Elvis, 50's + 60s covers etc
About a year later I was playing the main four instruments of guitar, keyboards, drums + bass to a standard I could get away with in Clubland.
From 1970 up until 1985 I only played in Workingmens Clubs, British Legions, Cabaret etc and played in about 10 different bands but I joined a band in 85 that would change my style.
We were called Sniper and I was the keyboard/guitarist/vocalist and for the first time I was playing classic rock covers. This was also the time when I got my rock voice.
I then joined a band called Pop-Eye & His Semen which continued the rock theme but in 1988 I went back to the Club circuit doing close harmony with a trio called Revolution.
During the 90's I played in a duo that changed its name a few times but during the latter years we concentrated on rock covers.
In 2000 I joined Disturbin The Peace.
